GTM glossary.

The terms that matter when an outbound system is accountable for more than activity.

AI SDR

An assisted outbound system that supports targeting, research, drafting and routing. It is not permission to send unreviewed claims.

Campaign attribution

The evidence linking a campaign touch to a reply, qualified conversation or meeting, without overstating causality.

DNC / suppression

A do-not-contact record that prevents future outreach. It must override volume targets and automation.

ICP

Intent signal

A verifiable event that suggests a company may have a relevant problem or active initiative, such as a hiring change or funding event.

Positive reply

A response that shows genuine interest or asks for a next step. It needs human qualification before it becomes a meeting claim.

Signal-based outbound

Outbound that begins with a relevant, checked trigger instead of a generic list and a mass-send sequence.

Waterfall enrichment

A controlled order of data providers used to fill and verify a field, with quality and compliance checks at each stage.
